Wee Wander Quilt

Here's another great project that came my way, a throw/twin quilt with the Wee Wander collection by Michael Miller fabrics.  I can't tell you how much I love working with beautiful fabric.  This fabric was designed by Sarah Jane, a wonderful illustrator.
The pattern I used has a great free tutorial here.  It is nice to not have to cut all the fabrics on the diagonal but if I were to do it again I would have.  There is more waste but I think it would look nicer.  With the 21 fat quarters I could easily get another row across and down making it a twin instead of a large throw according to the pattern. Getting the lattice lines just right is a little difficult, just use a lot of pins :)
The top stitch design is one of my favorites it is simple dragonflies but looks gorgeous.
